Meet Leora
LEORA - is a Hebrew name that literally means "light unto me" or "I have light" How awesome is that considering my job is all about light? I tell ya, I was just meant to be a photographer! ;) LOL! Photography is paying attention to how the light reflects on my subjects and I strive to put my clients in the best light possible when photographing them. Light creates beauty and I love using light in many, many creative ways.

I have had a love for photography since I was a child. My grandmother gave me my first camera when I was 9 years old. It was an old Kodak camera that I still have today. No, I don't use it much now, but that camera was the start to something wonderful in my life. I don't know how many countless rolls of film I have had developed, but I am so thankful for the digital age!
I married my high school sweetheart, Charles, in 1997. We have 5 beautiful children, Landen (22), Sabryn (20), Rylan (15), Evelena (14) and Ian (13). I began taking pictures of my sweet kiddos during their growing up years. I would share them with family and friends and they convinced me that I could actually be a professional photographer. At first, I doubted that was possible, but that was always a dream of mine. And I have worked hard to make my dreams come true by attending many classes and workshops across the country taught by world famous photographers and learning all I can about photography.
I am continually working to keep up to date and develop ways to keep my photography fresh, new and set apart from the rest of my competition. My photography style is CLASSIC, ELEGANT and TIMELESS. I strive to keep the true to life colors in each of my photos I take pride in how each image I edit turns out, therefore, I take time and hand edit each and every image to perfection. It's important to me to create, not just a portrait, but a beautiful piece of art that will remain timeless for years to come.
Besides my love for photography, I also love other things:

*My kiddos who bring more love and joy to my life than I could have ever imagined
*My 4 Sch-noodles (Honey, Copper, Max & Teddy Bear) & 1 Golden-doodle (Lucy)
*I enjoy playing board games and card games with my family and friends
*Tacos are what I can eat every day and never tire of
*Classic TV shows such as I Love Lucy, the Dick Van Dyke Show, Andy Griffith, Mary Tyler Moore, Little House on the Prairie, etc.
*I am a sucker for romantic comedies
*Coffee shops
*Playing the piano
*Crocheting
*Traveling to places I have never been (I'm getting pretty close to having visited all of the 50 states)
*Tropical places are at the top of my list when vacationing
*Sunsets are truly my favorite of God's beauty and Kansas has AMAZING sunset views
*Music, music, music (about any genre)
