The Corona Virus has been... well, you all know! Not being able to do any shoots for weeks and weeks was taking a toll on this photographer. You can imagine my joy when restrictions in my area were lifted to go back to work! I was a bit nervous about how the pandemic would affect my business as I'm sure many others as well. But, my clients were excited too and bookings started coming in. The Vaughn Family was my first session to do and they have added a sweet little addition to their family since the last family photos we took
With the newest addition to their family, Mandie was excited to update their family photos. We met at the Riverside Park & Zoo and had anticipated warmer weather, but as the sun was going down the chillier it got. The kiddos were extremely cold but they cooperated so well. I had planned to capture a silhouette shot for them but due to the coldness, we decided to pick a much warmer evening for that. We met the following week at the Montgomery County State Lake - one of my most absolute favorite places to shoot!
I have known this family for a very long time and it has truly been an honor to photograph each milestone they have shared from adoption announcements, maternity, newborn, graduation, etc. Bruce and Mandie have done and are doing such a fine job as parents. I tease Mandie often and tell her that I want to be just like her when I grow up! She is an amazing person and momma!
The highlight from this session was watching the interaction, attention and love these sweet children gave little Gabrielle! You can tell they think the world of her! And my goodness, she is such a doll!
